NOURISH began by feeding individuals experiencing homelessness—meeting urgent needs with dignity and compassion.
KENYA 🇰🇪
Through school-based and community feeding programs, NOURISH provides nutritious meals to students, children, and families—supporting learning, health, and pathways to empowerment.

WHAT WE LEARNED ALONG THE WAY
Feeding is the foundation of our work —but we quickly realized it could not stand alone.
A meal provides relief for today, but without guidance, skills, and opportunity, the cycle of hardship remains. As we walked alongside the communities we serve, it became clear: lasting change requires more than nourishment.
That realization led us to integrate empowerment with feeding—pairing our Nourish program with mentorship, life-skills training, and purpose-driven support through Woman Empowered and Young & Empowered.
We still feed—because no one can grow on an empty stomach.
But we also empower—because true transformation happens when people are equipped to build their own future.
